Season 2026
Dear friends of dance, dear athletes, and dedicated parents,
It is with great joy and encouragement that I welcome you to the new season of the MiA Dance Festival!
Dance is passion, hard work, and joy. We are immensely proud of every young athlete who pursues their hobby with such dedication and discipline. The fact that your children stay active, participate in sports, and develop their talent is the best investment in their future. You are a huge inspiration to us.
Allow me to express my deepest gratitude to you, the parents. Your work is invaluable. You are the ones who drive, cheer, sew costumes, comfort after losses, and celebrate successes. Without your tireless support, logistics, and endless patience, the festival could not be what it is – a celebration of movement, talent, and family spirit. Your commitment is an example and a driving force for us.
And because we value your trust and want to keep moving forward, we have prepared a whole range of great news for this year’s edition after more than 10 years:
New Visual Standards: We have decided to change suppliers and are happy to present brand new trophies and medals that will be an even more beautiful and valuable reminder of your achievements.
Professional Dance Conditions: A professional dance floor (marley) will be available at all our events to ensure the best and safest conditions for your performances.
Experience for Spectators: At most major events, you can look forward to a breathtaking large-scale light show that will take the atmosphere to a new level (with the exception of our smaller events).
International Dimension: For international participants, we have introduced translations of entire pages, including the registration system, into six language versions to make access to information as convenient as possible.
Closer to You: To save you travel time, we have brought the semi-final rounds closer to you. We are happy to announce five new semi-final rounds across the country!
Your Voice Matters: We want to constantly improve. That is why you can now fill out a Satisfaction Questionnaire directly at each event and share your feedback and suggestions with us.
The Great Return: After years, we are returning with dance to our neighbors – specifically to Bratislava!
One More News: We are working on a brand new project that follows up on our current activities and should appeal to those who grew up with us but have already crossed the 45+ age limit: "Girls Without Brakes" (Holky bez brzdy). Follow us, you will find out more soon!
