Dear dance lovers,
Allow me to introduce you to a unique event that is approaching and will bring an unforgettable experience to everyone who carries dance in their heart. Imagine hundreds of enthusiastic dancers gathering in one place to showcase their talent and passion for dance. And you have the unique opportunity to be part of it!
During five separate days dedicated to our competition, you will have the opportunity to watch more than five hundred beautifully performed dance choreographies. Dancers from across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and other countries will bring the very best of their skill and energy to the dance floor. Each day you can look forward to a wide range of performances that will enrich your soul and broaden your horizons in the field of dance art.
Our goal is to present the diversity and beauty of dance in its full breadth, and therefore we have prepared competitions in 30 different dance disciplines.
However, in order to participate in this final stage of the MiA Dance Festival, dancers must first prove their abilities in one of the semi-final rounds. These rounds are held at various locations and dates to give as many talented groups as possible the chance to qualify. It is a true journey full of hard work and determination that culminates in the celebratory moment of advancing to the final stage (see qualification key).
Imagine that moment when, after months of hard work, sweat and endless hours in the dance hall, the competition moderator announces the name of your dance group as the absolute winner or as a wild card. That is the moment when all those nights of going to bed with sore legs and a mind full of choreography finally pay off – because you have just qualified for the GRANDFINAL!
